Dear Friends,

I invite you to consider the materials from the Conference for the Sharing in Christ's Name stewardship program. Samples of those materials have been mailed to pastors. Based upon feedback and surveys, Sharing in Christ's Name contains materials, ads and Bible study to help members of your congregation learn more about stewardship. Participants will learn about the personal, spiritual aspects of stewardship as well as specific ministries that are support by their gifts through apportionments.

Webinars explaining the material are scheduled throughout August. The times for the webinars and ways you can register can be found here: www.SharingTogetherUMC.org.

Additionally, Martha Taylor, from the Conference Communications office, will lead a workshop at our upcoming District Conference that will be held at Cabot UMC on Sunday, September 19th, from 2:30 until 4:30. Please make plans to attend and to learn how to use these materials for the benefit of your church's ministry.
